Description
Social climber Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced 'Bouquet, ' of course!) puts her best foot forward in this high-class comedy. In Cocktails, Hyacinth is concerned that Onslow's birthday celebration may interfere with her cocktail soiree. In the Unfortunate prospect, Hyacinth is too busy trying to impress Emmet with her singing to notice husband Richard's distress over the possibility of a forced early retirement. In Playthings for Daddy, Hyacinth must intervene when she learns that her father has run up a toy store bill he can't pay. In Three piece suite, Hyacinth attempts to arrange the delivery of her new living room set in such a way that it will impress the neighbors. In Picnic for Daddy, Hyacinth decides to take Daddy for a picnic in the country, but Daddy suddenly decides to drive off in her car.
